Workshop Program for 2010.
1.
Working with silver
(Beginners and experienced students)
A general free form class for anyone to make a personal
item out of silver.
As the first class of the year, you can come and explore
the general processes needed to work silver. You can either
start a project fresh or bring an existing project you are
working on and feel you need advice.
Sat 23rd & Sun 24th January 2010, 10 – 4pm
Cost £100 plus cost of silver, other materials provided

Connection Projects
(Beginners and experienced students)
Soldering, riveting and other connection projects. A
project based class where you learn the different skills
needs for each process. The class is designed so as you can
find the right methods that suit you as a craftsperson.

3.
Toolmaking for Jewellers
(Beginners and experienced students)
Make a hammer and forge a punch set from silver steel for
your own needs. You learn how to forge and work steel to
produce suitable tools. The processes include forging,
grinding and polishing of steel. You can choose from a
selection of cast iron hammerhead blanks available. Then
learn how to clean the blank and set the handle.

You will be working in his very well equipped workshop
allowing access to a wide range of processes.
General Students
Portfolio.
Future classes include Casting, raising for beginners and
starting stone setting.
